The Halifax Mooseheads have tinkered with their roster for training camp.
Defenceman Evan MacEachern of the Dartmouth IceDawgs is not expected to attend because he is away participating in prospect camps for prep schools and NCAA programs. Meanwhile, IceDawgs forward Anthony Cardinal and Ontario junior A defenceman Randy Gazzola have been added to the roster, which now sits at 50.
Rookies will report to camp on Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Cole Harbour Place, and will hit the ice for practices on Thursday, Aug. 16, and Friday, Aug. 17. The Mooseheads rookies then host the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Forum, and and visit the Screaming Eagles on Sunday, Aug. 19, in Sydney.
Veterans don’t report to camp until Monday, Aug. 20.
