We’re only a few days away from Danny Boyle’s much-hyped and hype-building opening ceremonies for the London Summer Games, but if you ask us, there won’t be anything in there as exciting as this trailer for Channel 4′s coverage of the Paralympic Games.

Pulled together using more than two weeks worth of shooting and backed up by the mighty Public Enemy, the trailer isn’t without its detractors, who take issue with some of the violent scenes depicted in athlete “origin stories.” But in a blog post on the Channel 4 website, director Tom Tagholm defends the decision to use them while also shedding some light on how some of the more stunning shots were created.
