Since this is Valentine’s Day and love is in the air, I would like to recommend Sydney’s At The Forks as the perfect place to take your amour.

The restaurant is beautiful and has lovely vistas of the river. The lavish table settings, charming wait staff and culinary mastery of the kitchen make this the perfect place to fall in love.

For instance, the Bone-In Pork Chop ($17) was so tender and juicy in its smoky goodness I almost fainted. The Lamb Pappardelle ($16) had a tender lamb ragu that coated the delicate ribbons of pasta like silk. If you’re looking for a showstopper for dessert, try the Breakfast ($8). Little banana pancakes are topped with a quail’s egg and served with bacon ice cream. Yes, bacon ice cream. Heavenly in its creamy, salty, sweet and smoky way.
