Linell Grudnitzky Hopefuls tryout for the Regina Rage Lingerie Football Team on Saturday.

The Saskatoon Sirens will play their inaugural match Sept. 1 at home at the Credit Union
Centre, the Lingerie Football League (LFL) Canada announced Wednesday.

The Sirens, one of four teams in the newly launched Canadian version of the LFL, will
take on the B.C. Angels, based out of Abbotsford B.C., at 8 p.m. in their first of two
home games this season. The second will be against the Regina Rage on Oct. 6.

The team will also play two away games – Sept. 15 versus the Toronto Triumph and an
Oct. 20 rematch against the Rage in Regina.

The season will have eight regular season games, two playoff matches and a Canadian
Lingerie Bowl, held (Nov. 24) on the eve of the 100th Grey Cup in Toronto.

Tryouts for the Sirens have been moved to the weekend of Apr. 27 and 28. Planned
tryouts for last weekend were scrapped when Las Vegas-based league officials had flight
