A brave neighbour and a lucky toddler are both safe and sound after a harrowing incident in Guangzhou, China.

A crowd had gathered below an apartment building with a large blanket ready to catch a young boy as dangled above the street after wandering toward the balcony of a fourth-storey apartment.

Not content to wait below, a neighbour scales the wall and supports the child’s feet as he tries to wriggle out of the railing. After several tense minutes, the child eventually managed to free himself to make it safely back inside the apartment.
