More than one million rain-soaked spectators gathered on the banks of the River Thames on Sunday, watching as a 1,000-vessel flotilla celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.
The maritime parade was the largest event of the four days of celebrations honouring the Queen’s 60 years on the throne.
