Police said they will not talk about a tip line set up after the arrest of suspected serial killer Shawn Cameron Lamb.

After Lamb was arrested in June, Winnipeg police set up a national tip line to help further the investigation, but say they are not willing to talk about what information they have received through the line or even the amount of calls they have received.

“I have been advised that as this is an ongoing investigation and to protect the integrity of that investigation they will not be able to respond to your enquiry,” said a Winnipeg Police Service spokesperson

“All information about calls or any tips received is confidential.”

Lamb has traveled extensively throughout Canada and police are not ruling out that he could be responsible for other murders and disappearances of women in Winnipeg or others across Canada.

Lamb is suspected in the murders of three Manitoba women and anyone with information about the investigation is asked to call 1-855-817-4949.
