KENORA, Ont. — Police are on the scene of a small plane crash near Trout Lake in northwestern Ontario.

Provincial police say they were called around 9:30 a.m. to an area about 40 kilometres northwest of Kenora.

It was not immediately known whether anyone was hurt in the crash.
