Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce president Dave Angus says the local politicians are still ignoring the vision outlined in the Manitoba BOLD campaign.

“I’m disappointed,” said Angus, but added he didn’t expect parties to immediately adapt the ideas presented into their platforms.

“I am disappointed in the parties so far in terms of their lack of bold vision and bold ideas. And the reason why I’m really disappointed is that personally, I think elections are supposed to be about exactly that,” he added.

“We’re not saying these are the only ideas, or that these are the right ideas. What we’re saying is, we need to start discussing these elements,” Angus explained.

Yesterday’s announcement was the fifth of six announcements outlining the Manitoba BOLD platform, which includes ideas for making Manitoba a greener and more business-friendly place.
