There wasn’t a cat to be seen for miles at the Assiniboine Park Sunday morning, and for good reason—hundreds of dogs flooded the park for the Winnipeg Humane Society’s (WHS) biggest fundraiser.

Paws in Motion is held every year to raise money for the society’s spay and neuter program and this year more than 900 furry friends and their owners made it out for a mass walk and some fun in the sun.

The day included contests, live music, kid’s activities and a demonstration from the Winnipeg Police Service’s K9 Unit.

The WHS spays and neuters nearly 6,000 animals at their clinic every year.
