CBC’s Rick Mercer took a swing through Winnipeg this month to give Canadians a televised tour of The Forks that aired on this week’s Rick Mercer Report.

Between interviews with locals and travelling bucket-listers, Mercer peppered his praise of ice warming huts and other charms found in the area around the world’s longest skating surface with good-natured barbs and an unusual devotion to our grease-powered Zamboni.
