An Ontario man is looking for solutions after he was caught filling in a newspaper crossword puzzle while driving on Wednesday morning.
The driver of a red Ford pickup had allegedly spread a newspaper across his steering wheel and was filling in the rows of his crossword when he was spotted by an officer patrolling Hwy. 401 near Chatham-Kent.
He was reportedly so engrossed in his puzzle that it took him more than a minute to notice the police cruiser driving beside him.
When he did finally spot the officer, he pulled over.
Daniel Irons, a 54-year-old St. Thomas man, has been charged with careless driving.
