A Vancouver man and woman were arrested after three men were robbed of their cell phones Sunday night at knifepoint.

Around 6:30 p.m. a 24-year-old man and a 25 year-old-woman allegedly robbed three men, who were walking in the area of Hornby and West Georgia streets, of their cell phones.

“The man was allegedly brandishing a knife,” said Sgt. Randy Fincham. “A short time later, the man and woman were found by police in the area of Robson and Seymour Street and were arrested with the assistance of a police dog, following a short foot chase.”

Police are recommending robbery charges against the man and the woman.
