Eleven kids from Kidsafe, a supportive care program for inner-city kids, joined artist Todd Polich on the Downtown Eastside Tuesday afternoon to help him transform the exterior wall of Sunrise Soya Foods into a 150-foot mural as part of the Orcas in the City project.

The wall is also being worked on by kids from the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre, and is expected to be complete July 30. It will be offically unveiled Aug. 1.
