Thieves in Vancouver burrowed through a wall of the Royal Canadian
Mint boutique on Granville Street and made off with thousands of dollars in stolen items.
The break-in occurred late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
Police arrived on the scene shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday and were met by an employee who informed them the alarm had been tripped hours earlier when thieves broke through an interior wall and snatched items from display cases.
Police did not give specifics on what was stolen.
