A family continues to search for an Australian man who vanished in B.C. one year ago after sustaining a head injury in the Interior.

Owen Rooney went missing from the Grand Folks Hospital on Aug. 14, 2010, two days after sustaining a head injury at the Shambhala Music Festival near Salmo.

The RCMP, along with Rooney’s family, are asking for the public’s help for new tips and leads to help figure out where he may have headed.

Anyone with information regarding Rooney’s whereabouts or have any details on his disappearance are asked to contact the Grand Forks RCMP at 250-442-8288.
