Tommy Chong, half of stoner-comedy duo Cheech and Chong, is hosting a B.C. NDP leadership fundraiser tonight for candidate Dana Larsen.

The event, which takes place at 7 p.m. at the Rio Theatre in Vancouver, includes a screening of a/k/a Tommy Chong – the documentary about Chong’s arrest and subsequent nine-month sentence for selling bongs. The evening also includes a performance by Chong and his wife Shelby at 8:45 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer period with Larsen and the Chongs.
