Metro Vancouver’s readership continues to grow with young adults, according to results released yesterday by the Newspaper Audience Databank (NADbank).

Metro Vancouver had the highest increase of any other newspaper in Vancouver in weekly readers between the ages of 18-34, representing a five per cent increase, to 175,200 weekly readers.

Metro Vancouver reaches 10 per cent of Vancouverites daily, and 24 per cent weekly, according to the NADbank 2010 results. In comparison to NADbank 2009 results, Metro Vancouver’s daily reach remains unchanged, but its weekly readership increased from 23 per cent to 24 per cent in 2010.

"I am delighted to see our significant weekly readership growth with our key age demographic groups of 18 -34 and 18-49," said Metro Vancouver publisher Maryse Lalonde.
