You may have noticed over the past six months that we here at Metro Minute are unabashed literary geeks, from our complete bias toward covering book-related items to our overuse of cryptic literary references to describe a latte.

Today’s Metro Minute is no different. That’s because we’re all over Junction brunch spot Cool Hand Of A Girl. Owner Lucia Maceda plucked the name from French Algerian author Albert Camus’ absurdist masterpiece, The Myth Of Sisyphus, which in this case describes man’s existential search for a killer plate of eggs.

Maceda’s Mexican-inspired dishes will excite you just enough to polish off a piece of homemade pie – and, hopefully, a new book.
