Saskatoon police have released the name of the 34-year-old woman who was shot in her home Wednesday morning.

The name of the victim was Lorry Anne Santos.

Police say while it’s early in the investigation, they believe that one or more persons fired shots at the home, hitting Santos, who later died in hospital.

They also are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a newer model Acura which was seen in the area at the time of the shooting.

It’s described as a silver, four-door vehicle with tinted windows.

At the time of the shooting, Santos was in the house with her spouse and four children, including an infant.
