The month isn’t over yet but Regina has already broken a 71-year-old record for snowfall in November.

Environment Canada says between 52 and 70 centimetres have fallen on the Saskatchewan capital, based on two snowstorms.

Meteorologist John Paul Cragg says the average for Regina is about 14 centimetres for November.

The previous record for the city was 53 centimetres that fell in 1941.
