Cardiac patients have picked out the University of Ottawa’s Heart Institute as one of the best in Ontario, according to a new report.

In a National Research Corporation report, released earlier this month, roughly 98 per cent of patients expressed high satisfaction with the Heart Institute. The hospital also ranked first among Ontario’s acute care hospitals that patients would recommend.

“This is great news and a remarkable source of motivation and inspiration for the entire team at the Institute, said Dr. Robert Roberts, president and CEO of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. “Our patients, and their families, are at the centre of everything that we accomplish, from our patient care to our research vitality.”
