The melting snow, longer days and scent of spring in the air can only mean one thing – the sap is running in the maple trees and it’s time to visit the Cabane à sucre.

Maple Sugar Fest is here again at Richelieu Park, 300 Des Peres Blancs Ave., Ottawa. From today until next Sunday, visit the sugar shack, walk the paths of the heritage maple forest and taste maple taffy pulled off snow.

You can also visit the Vanier Museopark, check out a petting zoo, enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides, a “Mad Science show,” co-operative games and more.
