Spoon up some excitement tonight as the Vanier Museopark presents the fifth annual Soup-Splash at the Richelieu Vanier Community Centre (33 des Peres Blancs Ave.).

Ottawa restaurateurs will square off to determine who can whip up the best soup using maple sugar as an ingredient. It’s all part of this week’s Maple Sugar Festival, after all.

Taste the entries from Bistro St-Jacques, Algonquin College, Gourmet Express, Piccolo Grande, Epicuria, Cité Collégiale, La Favorita, Coconut Lagoon and more. Start time is 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 in advance. Call 613-580-2424 ext. 32001 or email info@museoparc.ca.
