See Indian myth and legend unfold before your eyes tonight as gods, goddesses, warriors, saints and demons take the stage at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Theatre. India’s world-renowned Kerala Kalamandalam Kathakali Troupe combines traditional dance, theatre, and elaborate makeup and costumes with a vibrant musical soundscape to present entertaining tales from India’s mythology, particularly the Hindu epic the Mahabharata. Tonight’s performance, presented in partnership with the High Commission of India and the India Council for Cultural Relations, begins at 7:30.
