Metro file Bo Horvat is one of two London Knights in the running for Canada’s National Junior Team.

The OHL released a preliminary schedule Monday for the London Knights’ battle to claim the league championship.

London will open the series at home with a 7:05 p.m. game Friday. The series will stay at Budweiser Gardens for a 2:05 p.m. Sunday game before hitting the road for matches on May 7 and May 8.

If more games are needed in the best-of-seven contest, teams will return to the Budweiser Gardens ice May 10, travel for a May 12 game and come back to London on May 13.

The Knights, who beat the Plymouth Whalers on Friday to capture the OHL’s Western Conference title, will face either the Barrie Colts or the Bellville Bulls in the championship series.

Barrie and Bellville play the deciding match Monday night.
