The London Lightning continued their blockbuster season in the National Basketball League of Canada Sunday, with a victory over the Halifax Rainmen at Budweiser Gardens. The win brings their record to 9-0 for the season so far.

London’s Adrian Moss led all scorers with 21 points, as the Lightning cruised to a 108-95 victory. Rodney Buford, with 17 points, and Jeremy Williams and Jermaine Blackburn (14 each) were the other leading scorers for London.

Lightning forward Elvin Mims led the team with 16 rebounds.

Quinnel Brown netted 16 points to lead the Rainmen, who trailed 52-42 at halftime.

The Lightning will try to improve to 10-0 on Friday night with a game against the Jazz in Montreal.

London is the only one of eight teams in the NBL that is undefeated. Every other team has at least five loses.
