An illegal underground brewery in Dartmouth was shut down yesterday, police say.

Halifax Regional Police executed a search warrant on a home in the 100 block of Windmill Road and found a still along with beer, wine and other alcohol.

Police are alleging the occupant was selling liquor from his home.

All items were seized and a 63-year-old man was arrested.
