Production has begun in Halifax on a new Showcase series starring the actors of Trailer Park Boys fame. Mike Smith, Robb Wells and J.P. Tremblay, left, have started work on the six-part comedy series entitled The Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour. Trailer Park Boys recently ended after a seven-season run. The new series will guest star Pat Roach and John Dunsworth and is scheduled to be released in the winter of 2011.
