A man faces charges after a weekend stabbing at a bar in Dartmouth.

Floyd Clayton, 40, of North Preston is accused of attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon in an incident at the Old Mill Tavern. Police said Clayton turned himself in on Monday.

The disturbance took place at about 1 a.m. on Saturday at the bar at 200 Wyse Rd. Police say a fight between several men moved from inside the bar to outside, and a 35-year-old man was stabbed several times in the torso. He is recovering in hospital.
