Metro Transit has come forward with a new package on Monday morning for the Amalgamated Transit Union 508 to consider.

Union spokesman Shane O’Leary tells Metro the employer decided on Sunday to go back and present something new on Monday morning. It’s a lengthy, legal document that the union bargaining unit is now reading over, he said.

When asked if there has been movement, O’Leary there has, but it might not be enough.

The union has set Thursday at 12:01 a.m. as a strike date if the two sides don’t come to an agreement.
