Police say a man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in the abdomen area in Dartmouth on Sunday evening.
Halifax Regional Police say officers responded to a disturbance in a parking lot in the 100 block of Kennedy Drive, and when they arrived, a number of people were seen leaving. At the same time, an adult male was found in the parking lot suffering from a stab wound.
He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police don’t believe the stabbing was random.
They are looking for a suspect described as a man between the ages of 20 to 30, who was wearing a grey sweat jacket, blue jeans and a ball hat.
