Another film fest with a rhyming name is on the way. Neptune Theatre and the Atlantic Film Festival have announced alfreSnow filmFesto, the winter counterpart of the popular alfresco filmFesto.
Like the summer version, alfreSnow has a theme, but unlike the watch-a-movie-by-the-water festival, this one will be held indoors. This year’s theme is a tribute to Alfred Hitchcock.
The movies will be shown every Monday in March at 7 p.m. at Neptune Theatre.
A local director will introduce each film and the audience is encouraged to stay afterwards for a meet-and-greet.
The four Hitchcock classics to be screened are Dial M for Murder, Rope, I Confess and Strangers on a Train.
Organizers are asking for a suggested donation of $8 a person.
