The Chickenburger is opening its latest location at the Dalhousie Student Union building starting next month.

The popular eatery also has locations in Bedford, Halifax and at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

Like its airport location, the Dalhousie site will be operated by Compass Group, which has entered into its second franchise agreement with the 50s-style eatery.

“We’re thrilled to open our fourth Chickenburger,” Mickey MacDonald, owner and CEO of The Chickenburger, said in a statement Wednesday.  “What better place to open a wholesome, made fresh while you wait diner, than a university campus where many students are living away from home.”

An opening date is slated for sometime in mid-September.
