Halifax police say a 17-year-old female was sprayed with dog spray following a fight at the McDonald’s restaurant in Tantallon on Sunday night.
The RCMP say just before 6:30 p.m. two teenagers, including the victim, got into a fight between two sets of doors entering the fast-food chain.
After the dog spray was used, police say both females ran out of the restaurant and the suspect fled the scene.
Investigators have tried to interview the victim, but police say she isn’t cooperating. They also say the two teens were known to one another.
While no one else was sprayed with the irritant, police say some people inside the McDonald’s may have been contaminated slightly by it.
