SYDNEY, N.S. – Cape Breton Regional Police have laid an arson charge in connection with a fire last week at a pizza shop.

Police say they arrested a 24-year-old man from Donkin, who faces charges of arson and break and enter.

Friday’s fire caused extensive damage to Scotties Pizza in Glace Bay.

Police say the accused has been released from custody and is to appear in court Aug. 27.
