PORT HAWKESBURY, N.S. – A 43-year-old Cape Breton man has been sentenced to 22 months in jail for domestic assaults against two women.
Kevin Campbell was sentenced on 17 charges in provincial court in Port Hawkesbury last week.
The charges included assault, assault with weapon, pointing a firearm and unlawful confinement.
Campbell, a resident of Long Point, was found guilty following a trial.
The charges involve two women described as Campbell’s significant others.
The assaults occurred between July 1995 and July of last year.
