A 50-year-old Dartmouth man accused of five counts of voyeurism and two counts of break-and-enter will be remaining behind bars.
Barry Edward Sinclair appeared in a Halifax provincial courtroom on Monday for a bail hearing. The Crown spoke out against his release with the judge later agreeing.
Sinclair is scheduled to be back in court on May 24 to set a date for trial.
According to police, a search of Sinclair’s Dartmouth residence turned up drugs, as well as pictures of four women who appear to have been photographed inside their homes and without their knowledge, police say.
After police released those photos to the media, three women came forward, ultimately leading to the charges against Sinclair.
