Time is running out to see Neptune Theatre’s latest production on the Fountain Hall stage.

The Beauty Queen Of Leenane is in its final week, with the play ending Sunday.

Based in an Irish village in the early 1990s, the play centres on the life of a 40-year-old woman who, for the past 20 years, has been taking care of her selfish mother. When the daughter finds time to escape for love, her mother has other ideas.

Acts of betrayal, deception and tragedy ensue in a play described as fresh and edgy with dark humour.
