Replacement bus shuttles will take over service for the LRT all day Saturday and Sunday, according to the City of Edmonton.

Service south of the Health Sciences Station will be cancelled to test the signal system in preparation for the LRT extension to Century Park. Regular LRT service will still continue from Clareview to Health Sciences.

Depending on the time of day, the shuttles will either run on a five-minute or eight-minute frequency.

Starting Friday night, trains will be running on the track from the South Campus to the Century Park station for testing.
