Occupy Edmonton said it’s getting another boost from Occupy Wall Street.
The group posted a list of donated items on its Facebook page, including a dozen sleeping bags good in -40 C weather, lanterns, heaters, a generator and two eight-person tents, worth nearly $6,400.
The group received $7,500 from OWS in November.
Last week, police and peace officers prevented Occupy members from marching on University of Alberta property for fears the group would set up camp.
The next day, members were allowed to protest alongside students.
