The man who was killed after an inner-city altercation last weekend has been identified by Edmonton Police.

Following an autopsy, police said that Douglas Glaude, 50, died from stabbing injuries.

Police said that Glaude and a 33-year-old woman were both taken to hospital with stab wounds after being found in a parking lot near 95 Street and 102 Avenue.

In a media release, police said inner-city residents frequent the area “(to) gather and often become intoxicated, thus precipitating violence.”
