SYDNEY, N.S. – Police are investigating a suspicious death on Cape Breton Island.

Regional police responded to a call about a dead person in an apartment building in Sydney on Friday.

Paramedics tried unsuccessfully to revive the 35-year-old man.

Police say the death is considered suspicious and the major crime unit is investigating.

The name of the victim has not been released.
