COUNTRY HARBOUR, N.S. – Nova Scotia police say alcohol is believed to be a factor in an ATV crash that put a teenager in the hospital.
Guysborough County RCMP say they received a call about an individual with serious injuries around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
The 19-year-old male passenger was injured after being thrown from the ATV on Highway 316 in Country Harbour.
The teenager was then taken to the hospital in Halifax.
Police say the 28-year-old male driver is facing multiple criminal code driving offences and is scheduled to appear in court in Antigonish in September.
The investigation into the crash continues.
