SOUTHWEST BROOK, N.L. – Two people are dead after a single car crash in Newfoundland and Labrador.

RCMP in St.George say a car crossed a west bound lane at Southwest Brook before hitting a guard rail which caused it to be vaulted into the water.

The car’s two occupants were pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say next of kin have yet to be notified.

The investigation is ongoing.
