CORNER BROOK, N.L. – Police in Newfoundland charged a taxi driver for a traffic offence after colliding with a motorcycle late Wednesday.

Police in Corner Brook say the accident happened just before midnight on Park Street.

They say the driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the taxi driver was not injured.

Police later gave the cab driver a ticket for making an improper turn.
