Metro / Robson Fletcher Calgary police say they apprehended a goat (not this goat, but one like it) that had been on the loose in Forest Lawn.

Police lassoed a goat in southeast Calgary Monday morning, but said they’re still working to determine where the animal came from.

Insp. Steve Ellefson said the furry farm animal was on the lam for about 20 minutes in the community of Forest Lawn.

“We chased it, we caught it,” he said.

The goat is in the custody of city animal services.
