In support of World AIDS Day, Club Sapien will be hosting a free screening and discussion tonight of the documentary Sex Positive.

The 2008 Daryl Wein film explores the life of Richard Berkowitz, a gay sex worker who took on the role of AIDS activist in the 1980s.

Numerous community experts will lead a panel discussion about the film following the screening. Carnival games and a safer-sex-themed game show will also be held.

World AIDS Day aims to raise awareness and help stop the spread of HIV.

The event gets underway at 7 p.m. Club Sapien is located at 1140-10th Ave. SW.
