Calgary police have charged an Alberta Children’s hospital nurse with sexual assault against two patients at the hospital.
According to police, they responded to the hospital Sept. 7, 2011 for a complaint of a sexual assault against a 13-year-old boy.
During the investigation, police said they learned of a second victim, a child that was 11-years-old at the time of the alleged offense, which was in August of 2010. Both of the alleged victims were assigned to the nurse during their stays in the hospital, police said.
Calgary police arrested Drew Robert Legary, 42, in his northwest Calgary home on Friday. Legary is a nurse at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, police said.
He has been charged with two counts each of sexual interference with a child under 16 years and sexual assault.
