One woman has died following a collision with a C-Train this morning in the city’s northeast.

According to reports, a woman in her 20s was struck around 8 a.m. near the Whitehorn LRT station.

She was transported to hospital but has since died of her injuries.

The Calgary Police Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Unit is on scene.

Police have shut down the northbound lanes of 32 Avenue N.E.
